About Founders

Inspired by the great purpose of changing the face of the society by moulding young children into responsible citizens, Dr. Nannapaneni Manga Devi and Ms. Garige Prabhavathi founded SVBK in 1965.

They worked with a clear vision, missionary zeal, and the vibrant principle, "The Child is Father of the Man," adopting the Montessori method of nurturing children and developing life skills and self-confidence right from the budding stage.

Both founders have been a great source of inspiration to all their colleagues with their commitment and dedication. Innovative teaching methods, inspiring literary works by Dr. N. Manga Devi, and her service to the needy brought her many awards at national and international levels, making her an exemplary role model for all.
